Meet the Doctors 
Kenneth HaminDr. Hamin graduated in 1988 from the University of Manitoba with his DMD degree. He received an award for crown and bridge and was on the Deans honor list. He continued his training with one-year hospital residency at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Dr. Hamin has been a part time clinical instructor at the University of Manitoba since 1994 and has a private practice where he performs all forms of modern dentistry. Cosmetic dentistry and preventive care is the focus at Campus Dental Centre. Also, he is famous for his Anti-Halitosis clinic on which he lectures internationally on because of his expertise in this field. Currently Dr. Hamin is finishing a five year post Graduate Diploma program in Aesthetic Dentistry in Buffalo and Minnesota (one of only a few in America). He is currently the Academy of General Dentistry's Regional Directory for Western Canada (www.AGD.org). An active member of the Canadian Dental Association and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Hamin strives to advance the knowledge and clinical skills of his entire team and reflects that in the care his patients receive. Credentials and Memberships
Ryan TsangDr. Tsang graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2000 with his DMD degree. At the same time, he earned a BSc. (Dent) degree for his two year research program entitled "Factors Influencing the Number of Bacteria in Saliva". He was also awarded for his achievements in Crown and Bridge construction and Restorative Dentistry with the the use of composite materials. Dr. Tsang has been in private practice since graduation where he provides a wide range of care. His strength in endodontics (root canal therapy) has since landed him a teaching position at the Faculty of Dentistry, where he instructs 3rd year dental students in a clinical setting. In addition, he also provides dental care at Stoney Mountain Institution. Even though his passion for dentistry and commitment to excellence results in a very busy schedule (including his attendance at several advanced continuing education courses), Dr. Tsang manages to find time to pursue photography, as well as enjoy music, movies and shopping. Dr. Tsang is proud to be a part of Reflections Dental Health Centre and looks forward to delivering the dental care you deserve.
Maria RuizDr. Maria Ruiz graduated with honors from the University of Manitoba with a DMD degree. Prior to this degree, Maria also completed a degree in Agricultural and Food Sciences at the University of Manitoba and coursework in the Faculty of Pharmacy. Aside from being involved in private practice, Maria has been actively involved in the dental field in other capacities including: clinical instructor at the Faculty of Dentistry, and with the Centre for Community Oral Health which provides oral care to patients in long term facilities and/or to those who are unable to mobilize themselves to attend dental appointments in a standard clinic environment. Dr. Ruiz also travels to Northern Aboriginal communities to provide oral care to Native reserve residents and instructs students in scaling module courses at CDI College. Dr. Ruiz is currently completing a five-year post Graduate Diploma program in Aesthetic Dentistry in Minnesota, and continues to provide a wide scope of general dental care to patients of all ages. Maria brings to our team a wonderful fluency in French and Spanish. She enjoys listening to all genres of music, plays the violin, enjoys a variety of hobbies such as; hiking in the woods and mountains, good movies and the cultural arts. 
Kunit NagraDr. Kunit Nagra graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2011 with a DMD degree and a BSc dent degree. Prior to completing these degrees, Dr. Nagra also completed degrees in Sciences ( BSc) and Arts (Ba). After completing his undergraduate degrees, Kunit successfully obtained admission into Dentistry, Pharmacy, Optometry and Physio-therapy, and ultimately decided to pursue a career in Dentistry. Aside from being involved in private practice, Dr. Nagra is a big fan of sports. His favorite hockey team is the Pittsburgh Penguins. On his spare time, Kunit enjoys catching up with old friends, going to the gym and playing tennis. When he's on holidays, Kunit prefers to travel with friends and family. Dr. Nagra was born and raised in Winnipeg. He is bilingual. He is also fluent in Punjabi and Hindi. He graduated from Glenlawn Collegiate in 2001. His parents and two younger sisters also reside in Winnipeg. Dr. Nagra is happy to see the return of the Winnipeg Jets. |
